ABOUT THE BOOK

This volume collects original articles by internationally renowned economists addressing fundamental economic issues in such areas as: choice theory, econometrics and general equilibrium modelling, economic growth and development, agriculture and agrarian reform, and economic history. Written in honor of Professor José Encarnación of the University of the Philippines, these essays present important and often provocative viewpoints on difficult questions that will be subject of discussion and debate among scholars for years to come.
